Mmm... burritos

Things in VA are going well. The weather has cooled off a bit, we're growing, learning, moving. We have met some incredible people and are encouraged about the state of our world! We are of course anxious and excited, but also humbled. Please pray that in the coming weeks our hearts will truly be broken for the people of Tanzania, specifically the college students of Mzumbe. It's easy to get excited and to read and learn, but this is much more than simply an adventure. Nothing can truly prepare us to work with people. Is there anything greater? I do hope that before landing in Africa, my heart breaks and we fall on our knees daily for people that we do not yet know!! To share with them hope, true hope in Christ...

So yesterday we made it off campus for a bit to make a run to the pharmacy, and while out, we found a Chipotle! Michael = happy. Also nearby we discovered a Red Robin, TGI Friday's, Cheesecake Factory, and Chili's. All favorites, all not good for our efforts to back off of usual foods and prepare for the coming African cuisine.

Hey Guys, as you requested, I will pray for your hearts to break that you will be empowered through the Holy Spirit to give & provide a word of knowledge & a word of wisdom that will uplift & glorify the Kingdom....all to His Glory. By the way, there is nothing wrong (much) in partaking of what you can while you can....ENJOY. And Michael, its looks as though you were really happy. God Bless you both and may He continue to pour out His grace & mercies upon you in GREAT abundance. Joyce W

Joe-
Where are you in that picture?! No where in the U.S. is cool enough for a jacket!! Even for you!!
Michael-
Don't worry, I will send you a goat burrito recipe!!
I pray daily for the people you will get to work with, that God is already working, readying them by blanketing the area with His Holy Spirit. I pray that he is raising up leaders even now, preparing their hearts to listen to His messengers. (that would be you!)

Love you and miss you -- Jenni

Two thoughts - "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and a contrite heart -- These, O God, You will not despise."
(Psalm 51:17), and "Let those things which break Your heart, O God, break mine as well." (Franklin Pierce) Knowing you two, you are already there. Listen to Him. Love, Tim and Linda

We miss you guys bad. I think Philip Galls recognized how bad Lexington would be without you two, so they went out of business. No joke. Know that we are praying for you both and that we are jealous that we're not going to Africa with you.

Seriously? Out of business? Big sale or anything?

Jenni - it cooled down to under 90 here one day last week, that's African for winter!

My dearest loved ones, I miss you both and want you to know that I'm very thankful that God put you two in my life. You two have been crucial to my personal walk and I'm sorry I missed your commissioning service. I love you two and pray that the nations will hear and confess that Jesus is Lord. Thank you for being that voice. Each step is bringing us closer to the kingdom.
