football time

So what's new? Not too much with us... We're still in VA, still working on many preparations to head overseas. We've had a little bit of fun this week: Michael is playing on a flag football team here on campus, has won every game and should be playing in the championship tonight (but rain is looking to be pretty inevitable). Last week in a game he jammed his thumb and it turned black and blue, but is getting better. Monday night we managed to get off campus and watched the Bengals-Ravens MNF debut, turned out to be a great game, good way to start the season, WHO-DEY! Can't wait for UK to beat Louisville on Saturday...

We've enjoyed some great trivia fun during lunchtimes brought to you by our local chef. Here's one to mull over: What can you find in over 40% of American households that is only used by 9%?

Swahili word for the day is mvua which means rain.

I think I know. Are they wide?

I showed these to Jackie about two years ago and told her they were the biggest scam going.

how about fire extinguishers?

probably the use level is even lower than what you said.

Nice idea Nick (though 40 may be shooting high), but no. I'm not saying it's a bad guess Kevin, but in reference to your question, no, you're way off...

This would be said if the answer is correct, but is it the Bible?

Thinking outside the box Travis... but no. Some experts would tell us that we ought to use it about as often as the Bible though (like everyday, maybe a few times). In fact, they probably tell the 40% that every year.

Is it hamsters? My friend has a hamster and he says that it is so funny looking when it walks! I know that most American households would be better off if they had a hamster.

Haha, good tries all. Think about this. What's something you are told to use every year, you likely say you will, and then you blatantly never do...?

How about a conscience?

Paul says a garage or kitchen table. Tracy is confident that it is dental floss. "Final answer"

Either a diary or a diet? Tim

Dead on Tracy!! Dental Floss it is!

Think about it... we all have it in the house, we're all told at least once a year by our dentist to use it, but none (most) of us never do!

And it's the polar opposite of wide... where were you going Kevin?

Check back soon for another dazzler. 2 points to Tracy!
