The Long Road Ahead

The sun has set on January 22 in East Africa, and there have been no new trips to the hospital, no new baby. Sorry Ryan, but you won't get to share your birthday this time around. We were able to have one last date out together, and greatly enjoyed it. But truthfully, we hope that this was our last chance at a quiet evening alone for some time. We fear it will not be. We just wanna meet the little fella!

In other news, it was fun watching the inauguration on CNN international and listening to the fireworks and all-out celebration of the Kenyans around us. The hopes sure are high out here!

Know that we are praying for a safe arrival of your child as well as safe travels back to Tanzania! Blessings!

I want to meet him too! I'm going skiing this weekend, so I'll fall down a few times and maybe he'll feel his aunt's need for his safe arrival...or JoeJoe will feel the disruption of the earth as I fall and it will put her in labor! Love you guys!
