It IS real

Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Having once flown directly over and twice driven by it within a few kilometers, yet never seen it (darkness and excessive cloud cover... there's a reason that the nearest city to Kili is called 'Moshi', which means 'smoke/fog'), we didn't truly believe that Mount Kilimanjaro actually existed!!

But now we've seen it, on our way to Kenya, it's real!!

Here's mama!
Now it's a waiting game. What do you think? Will our little one be punctual? Early? Fashionably late?

I know how you are feeling right now. Or at least I'm ready to have the baby now and not wait any longer. So here's hoping he's early!! Best wishes with the labor and delivery!

Oh...I don't know what he'll be. If he's like the rest of us Harrington's, he'll be right on time. But, I'm excited for his arrival!! Love you guys!

Of course, then you have the Sizemore side who is always late. Poor kid is going to be terribly confused

Thanks guys. We're doing well. Baby's trying to push his way out the side, now we just need to teach him the right direction.

Here's the 2 become 1 new family compromise. We've had so many dates suggested as due dates that we don't even know a real date, we have a range of about 2 weeks! So here's hoping he's right in the middle...

It is amazing how something as large as Mt. Kilimanjaro can be hidden.

In my 50 trips to Japan over a 10 year period, it was rare to see Mt. Fuji. When it was visible, it was easy to see why many people think it is sacred.

It is important for us to remember that the biggest things in life are often unnoticed.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the big thing coming for you two!

As are we. And a big thing he is! Last week's u/s estimated him at 7.5 lbs, and who knows how long to go! Maybe an inauguration baby? Super-Bowl? We're hoping for the former more than the latter. Just sooner the better!

So, congradulations...very late. It shows you how little I have seen this blog. I can't believe you guys are going to have a baby. That is so cool.

I really like your blog. It is cool to see all the things you are are doing and where you are at.

The mountain is beautiful and so is the little mama!!! You look great Joe Joe. I can't wait for the little Harrington to arrive! Sounds like he's going to be a big boy. I say he'll have the longest toes and fingers of anyone I've ever seen, Kevin says he'll probably be a midget.....
Love you guys and pray for you daily,
Gayle
