It's time for some introductions

Hello world!
My name is Sawyer Timothy. I was born at 5:25 am (East African Time) on January 26th. I weigh 8.1 pounds, and with my long legs I measure up to 21.5 inches in length. As expected, I have long fingers and toes, and I'm just too darn cute for my own good. I have big blue eyes that love to look around inquisitively. I love my parents, and I can't wait to make a lot of new friends!!
Here's what happened on my birthday:
My mom woke up at 12:45 with a strong first contraction. At 2:30 we all arrived at the hospital, and after a few hours of agonizing pain for mama (and hey, it wasn't all gumdrops and bunnies where I was either!), I took my first big gulp of this thing you call air at 5:25am. My dad's been hanging out with me a lot while the doctors checked up on Mom. But she's doing great now, and we're really enjoying catching up. I have a lot of questions for them about all the weird noises I've been hearing for the past 9 months, so I'm sorry, but I need to cut out and make sure those two are ok. They've been crying a lot, and I kind of wish they'd buck up and order some breakfast. I'm starving, and I think they must be hungry too!

Listen, I have some exploring to do. We'll meet later, but for now, send your regards to my Mom, and she'll probably smile real big and tell me about all the people in the world who already know me :).

Sincerely,
Sawyer

Dear Joe Joe and Michael,

He is beautiful...and so are the two of you. Sawyer looks strong to us. He certainly looks healthy. The three of you give strong testimony to the fact of God's awesome power and love. Welcome to His world, baby Sawyer. May your life reflect back to Him all glory and honor as you grow in His wisdom and grace.

Joe Joe and Michael!

How wonderful--your little guy has arrived and you get to hold him in your arms! He is beautiful! Jimmy was at Rosebower last night attending our services and we were discussing whether or not you had given birth yet, when he received a text saying Sawyer Timothy was in the world! We are praying for you all and look forward to meeting you one of these days.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Congratulations, Mike and Joe Joe and happy birthday, Sawyer. Most babies are not very good looking. But that one, that one's pretty handsome. Looking forward to meeting the guy sometime soon. Until then, continued prayers for good health, adventure and laughter, for the new family of three. - Nic

You don't know me, but I've been following your blog since my daughter and son-in-law (Nick and Suzanne Kafer) told me you were in Tanzania. Congratulations on your sweet baby boy. What an adventure you have in store, raising him to love Jesus and live a life that reflects that love! I've been to Tanzania twice, and to Kenya 7 or 8 times… Uganda once too. I absolutely love it there. We were there last June with a group of college students working with the Masaai (never remember how to spell that). We worked in villages around Tarangire Nat'l. Park.

God be Praised........You guys have brought into this world and exact replica of Michael; 21.5', my goodness!! He is truly beautiful; not you Michael.

JoeJoe, I know that you are now feeling the relief that it is all done, or should I enlighten you now & let you know it has only just begun. :O)

You both have so many years of amazement, joy, love, and surprise ahead of you both, and know that you will savour each and every moment.

You have been truly blessed as I know you are well aware; cherish this gift.

I cannot wait until you guys get back into the states.

Love, Joy & Peace to the Harrington FAMILY!!!
